Other problematic foods include corn, okra, grapefruit, radishes, turnips, cabbages, trans fats, saturated fats, cauliflower, white flours, hydrogenated oils, and artificial sweeteners.
Nuts are also problem foods for patients with gallstones because of their high fat contents. If at all possible you do not want to consume any foods with a higher fat content than 5 percent. Another odd drink that is said to get rid of this condition is for you to consume quarter cup of olive oil followed by a good drink of lemon juice. This mixture is supposed to be repeated in 15 minute intervals until you have ingested a full pint of olive oil. If you have trouble with this because of the taste they recommend following the lemon juice with pineapple juice or with V8 juice. Try and avoid sugars and the carbohydrates found in processed foods.
